Sound is a very important component to any film production. Few things can set the mood, advance the action, and close a scene as well as an outstanding soundtrack that promotes the visual images. Below are a host of songs, some very popular and some that few people have heard beyond the movie theater. Notice the titles choices that clearly illustrate that running is the focus: Running, 100 Meters, 100 Mile Dash, Hurdles and Girdles, Munich Race, and The Final Race, just to name a few.
