Based on a true story, this made for TV film by LifeTime was first shown in February, 2008. This film stars Charles Dutton (also director) who plays the prison guard of a Texas Correctional Youth Authority who organizes a track program for females at a juvenile correctional facility. The goal of this running program is to ease racial tensions (African-American, Latina and Caucasian teens) and build self-esteem, hoping they will break free of the lifestyle that put them behind bars in the first place. You will see the creation of this team and how they learn the skills needed to conduct a relay race behind bars. You may want to keep an eye on LifeTime listings for the next showing.
