Based on a true story, this made for TV film by LifeTime was first shown in February, 2008. This film stars Charles Dutton (also director) who plays the prison guard of a Texas Correctional Youth Authority who organizes a track program for females at a juvenile correctional facility. The goal of this running program is to ease racial tensions (African-American, Latina and Caucasian teens) and build self-esteem, hoping they will break free of the lifestyle that put them behind bars in the first place.
