This documentary follows Jeff Keith in his run across the United States proving to millions of Americans the feat can be accomplished in spite of a severe handicap. Jeff lost a leg to cancer when he was 12 years old. He started his trek in Boston, Massachusetts and ended the 3,200 run in February 1985 in Los Angeles, California. This was Bill Rock Productions first television show which won a silver medal form the International Television and Film Festival. Running 13-minutes in length, VHS and 16mm format, and released in 1985, this film was made possible through Johnson and Johnson products and Modern Talking Picture Service. For a more widely known story of a similar theme see the 1983 film The Terry Fox Story.
