There have been many updates from the original 2004 ChiRunning: A Revolutionary Approach to Effortless, Injury-Free Running that makes this update a welcomed production. Danny Dreyer, long time ultramarathoner, has refined his program as he continues to provide workshops and write about his form changing concepts. The content below outlines changes from the original presentation:

Organization: The lessons have been reorganized to better match the flow of the new ChiRunning book which results in an improved learning platform when linked with the written material.

Posture: This key to the program, has been updated to help the runner stay better aligned while running.

Pelvis: A whole new section on pelvic rotation has been added. This critical area is often overlooked, yet here you will learn about propper pelvic rotation, an integral aspect towards making the improvement in running form.

Foot Strike: Updates on mid-foot strike are found in this new addition.

Stretching: A series of stretches has been added focusing on the following body areas: Calf and achilles tendon, Hip flexor, Psoas, Hamstring and Adductors, Quadriceps, Lats, and lastly what Danny calls "Leg drains".

This video is from a video blog, not directly from the DVD:

Like any good coach, Danny Dreyer has taken the tried and true methods and continues to adapt and add to the concepts. That is what makes this DVD such a treat, the experience of time and learning adapt this disc into a more user friendly (especially when combined with the book) and expansive base to learn and benefit from the program. If you want to buy supportive items in addition to the DVD (metronome, marathon training package, ChiWalking, audio CD) then visit their official website at ChiRunning.com where you get discounts on bundled packages.
