In this 2 disc set is four hours of exciting championship action as originally broadcast by NBC sports. The fastest 100m-200m double in history by Tyson Gay (9.84/19.62) highlighted the event and also earned him Visa Champion honors. On the women’s side it was Tiffany Williams, and her 400 hurdle mark of 53.28, who won top honors. Overall there were 10 Michael A. Carroll stadium records broken from the 1,041 athletes entered. Alan Webb set a meet record in an exciting 1,500 meters, James Carter took to long hurdle race, Dee Dee Trotter won the women’s 400 and Jennifer Barringer was the winner in the steeplechase.
