Ted Gormley Stadium in New Orleans hosted the Championships this year with the Men’s competition won by Arkansas (LSU and Ohio State both tied for second), and the Women’s competition once again by LSU (with 93 points, their largest point total). For both squads, the victories were indicative of the consistent dominance of the programs. For the Razorbacks, it was the second of eight consecutive championships and for the Tigers, it was the seventh of eleven consecutive track and field championships. Individual winners on the track include Michael Green, Chris Nelloms, Calvin Davis, Jose Parrilla, Marko Koers, Donovan Bergstrom, Jon Dennis, Jonah Koech, Glenn Terry, Bryan Bronson, Holli Hyche (both 100 & 200m), Juliet Campbell, Kim Sherman, Clare Eichner, Kay Gooch, Carole Zajac, Gillian Russell (first of three 100H wins), and Debbie Parris.
