Available from USATF.com comes this 98 minute television coverage from the April 28th action from Franklin Field. Once again the atmosphere was electric for the 113th edition of the Penn Relays. The U.S. finishes with a 5-1 record in the USA vs. the World competitions where the best athletes from countries like Kenya, Russia, China, Jamaica, and Great Britain take on the Americans. Some of the meet highlights include a three-team wire-to-wire 400m relay, a star-studded (Gay, Spearman, Patton, Crawford) 4x100m race, and American women’s medley team. Individual performances by world-class sprinter Tyson Gay and American middle distance standout Nick Symmonds also leave lastings impressions on over 100,000 people who were in attendance.
