Adapted from Katherine Paterson’s Newbery Award winning book, you will learn that fifth grader Jesse (Josh Hutcherson) Aarons’ hopes of becoming the fastest runner in his class are dashed when a new girl Leslie Burke (AnnaSophia Robb) outruns everybody, including him. Jesse and Leslie soon begin a friendship and create a magical kingdom in the forest, where the two of them reign together as king and queen in the land of Terabithia.
