Released in late 2001, this 5-minute musical pictorial video depicts inspirational highlights of running in the United States and the Road Runners Club of America’s key role that they have played. The slideshow of images is set to the song by U2, Where the Streets Have No Name. This video is designed to evoke strong emotions of camaraderie and pride and viewers may come away with a renewed sense of interest for their sport, and for the the RRCA that helps long distance running prosper. This presentation was produced by Megan Kearney and made possible by grants from Avon, Inc. and Henley Gabeau. A notable quote that is shown is from Dr. George Sheehan: "I run so I do not loose the me that I was yesterday...and the me I might become tomorrow."
