Championship Productions.com offered this 2003 release for sale until they stopped carrying VHS tapes in June 2007. This program is hosted by Jack Hazen, head cross country and track coach from Malone College. Hazen has been honored by his selection as the head distance coach for the 2005 World Track and Field Championships to be held in Helsinki, Finland. With more than 35 years of high school and collegiate coaching experience, Coach Hazen brings his vast experience directly to you through his presentations. Whether you are just starting your program or building from a base already established, in this video you will see a complete and concise cross country training plan. The training programs that are presented are broken down into monthly, weekly, and daily training sessions, including sample workouts. Essential training components are covered including volume, intensity, strength, speed, rest, technique, flexibility, and mental preparation.
