The first 30 minutes of this tape is an intermediate level aerobic workout led by Ron Byrd and demonstrated and narrated by Jackie Joyner-Kersee. Follow the program that advances from an initial warm up of stretching through four phases of aerobic activity. This low impact set features squats, lunges, hand weights, and floor work that focuses on the back and abdominal areas. The five minute cool down returns to stretching and completes the workout. Next, Jackie provides both travel tips as well as toning and stretching exercises that you can perform while traveling. The last nine minutes is a documentary profile section where Jackie describes her early experiences with track and field and her relationship with her coach, Bob Kersee. During this period there are scenes from the 1986 Goodwill Games of competition in the high hurdles, 200 meters, and 800 meter run. After the credits there is a brief section on how to take your pulse and calculate your "training heart rate" based on your max heart rate.
