2007 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s
Cross Country National Championship

Josh McDougal, from Liberty University, won the individual title by only 1 second with a finishing time of 29:22 making this 12-time All-American undefeated for the season. Galen Rupp finished second in leading the University of Oregon Ducks in winning their first men’s team title since 1977 (and fifth in school history). Stanford captured the women’s title for the third year in a row. This production was released in February 2008 by NCAA On Demand and can be purchased at Amazon.com.

2006 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s
Cross Country National Championship

Here the men’s team from Colorado returns to the title which they last won two years ago. Josh Rohatinsky from Brigham Young is the individual champion this year over the 10,000 meter course in Terre Haute, Indiana. Amazon.com shows this as the Men’s race, although the cover art seems to suggest that the Women’s race is also included, although their race has been previously released in it’s own DVD.

2006 NCAA Division I Women’s
Cross Country National Championship

Welcome to the LaVerne Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, Indiana where the women’s competition was won by Stanford, their third team title in four years. The Cardinals were led by Arianna Lambie, who finished third. Sally Kipyego from Texas Tech won the individual title over this 6,000 meter course. 1995 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s
Cross Country National Championship

On the men’s side, Arkansas returns to top form in winning both the team title as well as the individual championship with Godfrey Siamusiye. The women’s winner over the 5,000 meter distance was Kathy Butler from Wisconsin and Providence took home the team trophy for their first and only win to date.

1994 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s
Cross Country National Championship

Hosted in Arkansas, the Men’s team competition was won by Iowa State. On the women’s side the title was won by Villanova who was led by the event winner, Jennifer Rhines, making this both the sixth team as well as indiviual title coming from the Wildcats of Pennsylvania. The individual champion for the men was Martin Keino of Arizona. This is the first cross country title to be released by the NCAA and expect more in the near future.

1981 NCAA Division I Men’s Cross Country National Championship

The cover of this DVD title says 1981, however the description provided at Amazon.com describes the 1991 event. Hopefully when you order this film you will obtain the 1981 race where Mathews Motschwarateu from UTEP wins the race and also leads his team to their fourth consecutive national team title.
