Video Give Away Official Rules
Entering any contest on RunningMovies.com is acknowledging and agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
Dates of Contest: The Contest will be conducted beginning near the first day of each calendar month and ending on or about the last day of each calendar month. The contest can be terminated at any time.
How to Enter: Submit your entry at www.runningmovies.com/contest.htm by filling in your name, valid e-mail address, and answering the question. Select the "Enter to Win" button to enter. Only entries with the correct answer will be eligible for winning.
How To Play: NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN. Any purchase, or registering for the monthly e-mail update (newsletter), does not increase odds of winning. All entries will be pooled together and winners will be drawn at random. The chosen winner MUST reply to the e-mail announcement within seven days to be officially declared the winner for that month. In the event RunningMovies.com does not receive a reply containing shipping address from the contestant within seven days, another contestant will be chosen.
Winner Selection: Winners are selected at random shortly after the ending of each contest. Odds of winning are based on the amount of entries received. Prizes are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not exchangeable for any other prize.
Prize(s): At least one film production (VHS, NTSC format, or DVD, Region 1 format) will be provided per month. The item will be shipped free of charge to the confirmed winner via media mail.
Publicity: Entering any contest constitutes permission to use winner's first name and last initial, and city and state/country on web site and in the monthly e-mail update (newsletter).
Eligibility and Limitations: RunningMovies.com is based in the United States. Contests hosted on RunningMovies.com are open to international residents, but legally binding to United States law only. The winner assumes all liability for use of the prize, use is at one's own risk. VHS movies in NTSC format and Region 1 DVDs have limitations on viewing in some locations and by some machines in the world.
Decisions and Conduct: All decisions are final. Rules may be altered at any time. Only one entry per person per month. Winning persons are not eligible to win again for a six month period. Any intent by the entrant to misrepresent themselves through the use of aliases and e-mail addresses will be disqualified. This Contest is void wherever prohibited by federal, state, provincial, municipal or local law. RunningMovies.com is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, any other error or malfunction, or illegible or misdirected entries.
