Although this bibliography is a thorough review of books and magazines that have covered running in the movies, over 200 videos have been produced since 1996 making this list primarily historical. Harvey Zucker’s title is out of print and difficult to find for purchase, although it is the most extensive of the sports filmographies. If you wish you would have taken a "film appreciation" course in college, but used up all your electives, then be sure to obtain a copy of Jim Piper’s 2001 release, Get The Picture?, or other similar books that are widely available.
